Basin students make Spokane CC honor roll

SPOKANE - Spokane Community College released its winter quarter honor roll list on April 14. Ten students from the Columbia Basin were recognized by the campus for academic excellence.

SCC listed 1,986 students on its honor roll for the 2022 winter quarter, which ended in March. The honor roll lists those students who achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or above, according to the release.

The 10 students include:

Brianna Hoffmann, Moses Lake
Samantha Helm, Moses Lake
Brennen Olson, Moses Lake
Emanuel Hernandez, Moses Lake
Tatum Harvey, Moses Lake
Leticia Garcia, Moses Lake
Chantel Durfee, Ephrata
Cody Brown, Ephrata
Miguel Preciado, Ephrata
Katherine Bunakov, Ephrata

The release states SCC is one of two community colleges within the Community Colleges of Spokane district. SCC serves more than 15,000 students annually with a main campus in East Spokane, five other locations in rural areas of northeastern Washington and a program in the Airway Heights Correctional Center.
