Aurora Z. Gonzales

Aurora Z. Gonzales was born on Oct. 3, 1935, to Fernanda and Pedro Zarate. She was the second of 10 kids.

Aurora met and married Alfredo L Gonzales on Dec. 4, 1954. They raised five kids together while working at Taco Shop. They were married for 65 years. Aurora passed away peacefully with her family close by.

She was survived by her children Freddy III, Angie (Gary) Walker, Agapito (Pete), Anna Gonzales and Elsie Gonzales, as well as grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was also survived by brothers Sergio Zarate and Richard Zarate and sisters Celia Wojdan and Josie Zarate. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Gonzales, her parents Fernanda and Pedro Zarate and brothers Henry, Alfonso, Johnny and Ray Zarate.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with viewing at 10 a.m., rosary at 10:15 a.m. and Mass at 11:00 a.m. A potluck dinner will follow at 1 p.m. at Taco Shop; please bring a dish of food.
