The proposal is a non-additive change. The water right currently has a single point of diversion in Round Lake used for irrigation 412 acres. The application will add a proposed well to the existing surface water point of diversion currently approved under the water right certificate. The purpose of the well is to capture surface water underflow that has been recharged to groundwater by upstream diversion and storage facilities. Water pumped out of the well will be transmitted via pipeline to Round Lake and transmitted to the place of use via existing infrastructure.
