William ‘Bill’ Glassmaker

1931 – 2021

Bill Glassmaker, 89, Moses Lake resident, passed away Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake from a non-COVID illness.

Bill enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1952, married in 1956 and had three children. Bill worked as purchasing supervisor with Puget Power Energy for 30 years. He loved raising pigeons, riding horses, hunting, fishing, landscaping and gardening. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and the Elks Lodge.

Survivors are Bonnie Wilcox, Barbara Glassmaker, Robert and Debbie Glassmaker, Brenda Glassmaker of Alaska, and John Meisenbach of Washington; grandchildren Gehrig Butler, Brandi Arnold and Jason Haylor and great-grandchild Cooper Arnold.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 200 N. Dale Road. Following will be a graveside blessing at Pioneer Memorial Gardens, 14403 Road 2 NE, Moses Lake.
