September 21, 2021 City of Othello Request for Statement of Qualifications and Proposals For Playground Equipment Design and Supply General Purpose: Pursuant to, and in compliance with, RCW 39.26 and 39.80 and the City of Othello requests Statements of Qualifications for Design and Supply of Playground Equipment. Work will include producing a collaborative design of play equipment with rubber pour-in-place surfacing. Selection Process: The City Staff will perform a review on a matrix created on the following categories, with weight indicated after each qualification criteria: - Project Team (based on training, experience, and availability of the individuals assigned to the project) (20 points) - Past Performance (past performance on similar projects based on quality of work, ability to meet deadlines, previous communication history, and ability to maintain the project budget) (20 points) - Understanding of the Project/Project Approach (understanding of scope, site observations description of experience with similar projects, and ability to maintain the project budget) (35 points) - Quality of the proposal in terms of research, accuracy, graphics, creativity, and following instructions (20 points) - Best creative name that identifies and provides an identity to the Othello Community's history. Request for Proposals The Fairgrounds is seeking proposals for the operation of food booths on the Grant County Fairgrounds. Currently there are six booths on the grounds open for operation in 2022 by both for-profit and non-profit organizations. The period for operation will be January 1, 2022 through December 31 2022.Proposals for operation must include: A summary of past similar business operations. Copy of Grant County Business License. A menu of food with pricing. An operation plan outlining when and how the booth will be used. A copy of insurance with limits as required by the Fairgrounds and customer testimonials if available. An Application form is available on the Fairgrounds website, gcfairgrounds.com Operators of food booths will be responsible for all equipment in the booth for the purposes of Food sales. The Fairgrounds will be responsible for the infrastructure of the building including power, water, sewer, and building exterior. All sales through the food booths will be charged a 20% commission if for profit and 15% commission with valid non-profit paperwork, plus applicable garbage and electrical fees. Proposals must be submitted to the Fairgrounds Director, 3953 Airway Drive NE, Moses Lake, WA 98837 no later than October 15, 2021 at 3:30 p.m..
