REQUEST FOR LETTERS OF INTENT TO BID Letters of intent to bid will be received by Aging & Adult Care of Central Washington (AACCW) for the provision of non-Medicaid Personal Emergency Response Services (PERS) to persons authorized by AACCW. PERS is an electronic device whereby an individual can secure help in an emergency. The device is connected to the individual's phone & programmed to signal a staffed response center. Service area must include the entire service area: Adams, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Lincoln & Okanogan Counties, excluding the Colville Reservation. Initial contract will be 1/1/2022-12/31/2022. The initial 2021 contract reimbursement amount was $53,140.00. This contract for program services is contingent on funding through the State Legislature. AACCW has the option to renew the contract up to three (3) additional 1-year periods. Only 1 (one) contractor will be chosen to provide these services. REQUEST FOR LETTERS OF INTENT TO BID Aging & Adult Care of Central Washington (AACCW) is accepting letters of intent to bid for Aging Network Chore (ANC) services offered primarily to those age 60+ or others meeting specific criteria for ANC services. Services must include all 6 counties (Adams, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Lincoln, and Okanogan Counties, excluding the Colville Reservation). The services are provided on a temporary basis to clients residing in their own homes to prevent unnecessary institutionalization and to protect clients from unsafe or unhealthy conditions. Clients must need help with at least one personal care task, including: ambulation, bathing, body care, dressing, eating, positioning, self-medication, toileting, transferring. Clients can also receive assistance with household tasks such as: essential shopping, housework, laundry, meal preparation, travel to medical services, wood supply. Initial contract 1/1/22-12/31/22. Services provided 1/1/20 -12/31/20 were approximately 7,300 hrs. Additional funding and hours will be subject to availability. Contracts will be reimbursed on a unit rate basis and are renewable annually for up to 3 additional 1-year periods. Up to two (2) contractors will be awarded this bid. The maximum negotiable reimbursement rate will remain at the state-published rate for services, plus the state-published rate for Agency Worker Health Insurance (AWHI) and Caregiver Training Tuition (CGT) Reimbursement. Monthly & quarterly reports with support documentation required. Workers must receive Basic Health insurance or private market health insurance, orientation/safety training & required caregiver training. Notice is hereby given that Grant County has received a SEPA checklist from Kissler Enterprises Inc. Grant County has issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (WAC Chapter197-11) for the following project: A Conditional Use Permit and SEPA to allow the expansion of a surface mine and extraction operation for diatomaceous earth. Approximately two million cubic yards of material are estimated to be removed from this site which is a 320 acres. LOCATION: The site address of the subject parcel is currently unassigned. The site location would be in the 7400 block of Beverly Burke Road SW. The site is located approximately six miles south of the Town of George.
