Michael Lee Brown passed away in his home on Oct. 2, 2021, at the age of 78.

He was born on March 26, 1943, in Ephrata, Washington. He graduated from Ephrata High School, Big Bend Community College and Minot University in North Dakota where he got his teaching degree.

Throughout the years, Michael had accomplished many things. He was a high school teacher in Warden, former mayor of Warden, a volunteer firefighter in Warden, a lieutenant with the Grant County Sheriff’s Reserve, a tow truck driver with Vista Service Towing, Lions Club member and a member of a Christian motorcycle association.

Some of his greatest hobbies were working in his garden, riding his motorcycle, making cookies and homemade bread and just being around his friends and family. He really enjoyed having company and was an amazing storyteller.

Michael leaves behind his lovely wife Roberta Brown of 32 years; daughter Kathy Sharrah; three siblings Jill, Paul, and Macier; and four grandchildren Jessica Galindo, Matthew Pooley, Ethan Snider and Amanda Rolfs, along with seven great-grandchildren whom he dearly loved. He was preceded in death by his parents, his two sons Doug and Greg Brown, and his great-grandson Makaio Pooley.

Michael was loved and cherished by many and has impacted so many lives. He will be greatly and forever missed.

There will be no funeral at his request.
