Letter: Pro-life is not a lie

I followed the pro-abortion parade with my pro-life sign and I heard their bullhorn say, “Pro-life is a lie.” For two hours it raged, “Pro-life is a lie.” I want to refute that slogan with this letter. I hope writing is more effectual than arguing with the bullhorn.

Pro-lifers want to save lives. We want to stop the shedding of innocent blood. We want this for everyone: for ourselves, for pro-aborts, for babies, moms and dads, everyone. We believe life is a gift of God and we work to protect us all.

Finally, we believe that sex is such a beautiful and powerful thing it must be contained within the confines of a loving marriage. Personally, I believe that things said out of love and sealed with a ring are better than any argument shouted from a bullhorn.
