Charles (Chuck) Myhre
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our much-loved husband, father, grandfather and friend Charles (Chuck) Myhre. He passed peacefully on Oct. 6 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane with his family at his side.
Chuck was born to Glenn and Kathleen Myhre in Tacoma, Washington. After high school, he attended Wenatchee Valley College where he played football. There he met his future bride, Tami Wilson. They got married in 1968 in Tacoma. They resided in Tacoma for two years before moving to Ellensburg to attend Central Washington State. While in school, Chuck took a job with UPS which became his career. Chuck and Tami moved to Moses Lake where Chuck was a UPS driver for 33 years and Tami taught school in Warden and Moses Lake for 31 years. Chuck enjoyed boating, landscaping, coaching and cheering on his beloved Huskies. After retiring, Chuck and Tami traveled extensively and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Tami, of 53 years, his son Craig Myhre, his daughter Lindsay Bates and her husband Jared and their three children Carson, Kaiya and Chloe. A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held Friday, Oct. 22 at 1:30 p.m. at the Moses Lake Presbyterian Church, 1142 W. Ivy. In lieu of flower donation please donate to the Presbyterian youth group.
