ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2021 REMOTE ACCESS INFORMATION WILL BE POSTED ON THE COUNCIL AGENDA www.cityofml.com NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the Moses Lake City Council will hold a public hearing to consider adoption of the City's Comprehensive Plan Update, Future Land Use Map, and Housing Action Plan on October 26, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. The proposed Comprehensive Plan reflects changes meant to meet the individual element requirements in Growth Management Act which typically includes an inventory and policies and plans for land use, housing, economic development, parks and recreation, utilities, capital facilities, and transportation. Along with the Comprehensive Plan Update the City has developed a Housing Action Plan (HAP) allowed under GMA (RCW 36.70A.600) to support the Comprehensive Plan and guide future policies, programs, and regulatory proposals in the future. The City of Moses Lake Planning Commission has recommended approval with minor modification to the proposed Urban Growth Area. A copy of the proposed plans are available to view in the Planning Department, by emailing Planning@cityofml.com, or on the City's website located at https://www.cityofml.com/1016/Draft-Comprehensive-Plan-Elements. The City Council meeting packet will be posted on the City's website the Friday prior to the meeting. Interested persons may provide testimony either in writing or by participating in the Public Hearing. The City Council of the City of Moses Lake invites all interested parties to attend a Public Hearing on October 26, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. to offer testimony on the decision to update the Complete Streets Policy. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT AN OPEN RECORD PUBLIC MEETING WILL BE HELD October 19, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Grant County Commissioners Hearing Room, Courthouse, Ephrata, WA to consider the following budget extensions: Affordable Housing, fund 129 - $31,000. We anticipate receiving more revenue from recordings than we initially budgeted. Homeless Housing, fund 130 - $325,000. We anticipate receiving more revenue from recordings than we initially budgeted. Affordable and Supportive Housing, fund 141 - $80,000. We anticipate receiving more revenue from tax credits than we originally budgeted. ERP Reserve, fund 312 - $1,000,000.00 for the purchase of the County's new ERP system. If this budget extension is approved, I am also requesting to transfer the $1,000,000.00 from Current Expense Fund 001 to the ERP Reserve Fund 312. ERP Reserve, fund 312 - $9,000. The ERP Reserve Fund was established as an interest-bearing fund, but we did not include projected interest earnings in the initial budget extension request. This is the additional revenue that we anticipate receiving on the money transferred to the fund to pay for the ERP system New Hope, fund 128.170 in the amount of $32,900.00 to receive American Rescue Plan funds approved by the commissioners to be used for salaries, benefits, rent and professional services. Douglas United States Courthouse, Yakima, Washington. The position's availability will be conditioned upon the current Magistrate Judge's confirmation and appointment as an Article III Judge. The term of office is eight (8) years. The current annual salary of the position is $201,112.
