Moses Lake 20, Hermiston 5

The Moses Lake High School Chiefs softball team swept the Lady Bulldogs in Hermiston, Oregon, in a doubleheader on Wednesday. Ali Stanley hit 3 for 4 with a home run. Jadelyn Balderas went 3 for 3, Paige Richardson 3 for 4, Mikayla Schwartz 3 for 4, Piper Bradshaw 2 for 2 with a home run and Emmie Olsen 2 for 4.

Moses Lake 16, Hermiston 6

Ali Stanley again led the way in the second game going 3 for 5 with two homers. Kendall Reffett hit 2 for 4, Schwartz went 2 for 5 with a home run and Bradshaw 3 for 3.

The Chiefs currently stand at 11-1 for the season, ranked second in the state behind Chiawana High School, which they face Tuesday at home.
