December 31, 1948 – November 14, 2021

Dona Hyke Chappell Field of Moses Lake, Washington, passed away peacefully Nov. 14, 2021. Dona was born Dec. 31, 1948, to William and Albetha Hyke in White Salmon, Washington, where she and her siblings continued to grow.

After high school, she married John Chappell. They had two children: Venus Chappell Lone of Moses Lake, Washington, and Jamey Chappell.

In 1978, she moved to Moses Lake, Washington, with her children, where she resided until her death.

In the mid-’80s she married Roger Field and with his two children became a blended family until the early ’90s, when they went their separate ways.

Throughout her life, Dona enjoyed many things, including gardening, knitting, baking, playing pool, road trips to carol frogs and most of all her grandkids and great-grandkids.

In the late ’90s, she found love with Tony Willcut and they remained together until his passing in October 2021.

Dona is survived by her two children, three grandkids, two great-grandsons and one brother, as well as other family and friends. There will not be any service at this time, but in the spring there will be a celebration of life.
