Soap Lake starts phase three of sewer, water improvements

Soap Lake’s Sewer and Water Phase III project is moving along, according to an update Wednesday from the city.

The Phase III improvements are out for bid and construction was planned to start in early 2022, according to the city’s website.

Water improvements will include replacing water mains, some fire hydrants and updating well houses.

Sewer improvements will include replacing sewer mains and wastewater treatment facility repairs. The project will also include a new sewer main extension to Purple Sage RV Resort, which is located on the west side of Division Street, between Basin Street Northwest and Seventh Avenue Southwest.

The website states the project page will be updated as the project progresses and can be found at www.soaplakewa.gov/news/sewer-amp-water-improvements-phase-iii. The website also includes maps of the impacted areas.
