Chiefs to take on Bullpups in first round of state playoffs

The Moses Lake High School Chiefs football team will take on the Gonzaga Preparatory School Bullpups at 7 p.m. tonight in Spokane in the Chief's first playoff game for the state championship since 2017.

The two teams are fighting for the chance to continue on to the quarterfinals and the loser will be out of the competition.

The Chiefs have been ranked No. 11 going into the competition with an overall season record of 7-3.

The Bullpups were ranked No. 6 with an undefeated season so far.

Fourteen other schools in the 4A category across the state will be clashing tonight and Saturday for their shot at the quarter finals.
