Election day

A forest of signs, including many local campaign signs, stands on the little triangle of grass at the five-sided intersection of South Pioneer Way, Wheeler Road and East Fifth Avenue. Today is the deadline to cast ballots in the off-year general election, and the first results are expected this evening.
