ROYAL CITY — The Royal Knights won their last district game handily Friday, trouncing Connell High School 54-0. Luke Bergeson made three touchdowns, while Avery Ellis, Edgar Delarosa, Kaleb Hernandez, Gunnar Anderson and Elijah Jenks each made one. Derek Bergeson led in passing yards with 209, and Ellis led in rushing with 92 yards.

Ephrata 21, Prosser 28

The Ephrata Tigers trailed one touchdown behind the Prosser Mustangs most of Friday’s game. A two-point conversion put them ahead by one point briefly in the fourth quarter, but Prosser returned the move and defeated the Tigers by 8 points. Travis Hendrick led in passing yards with 104, and Cole Hertz led in rushing with 146 yards. The loss leaves Ephrata at 4-5 for the season.
