Dale A. Kingma
December 22, 1946 – May 8, 2021
Dale, 74, of Arizona, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, May 8, 2021. He was born and raised in Lynden, Washington. He joined the Air Force after graduation from Lynden High School and served as a diesel mechanic in England. After returning from England, he went to work for John Deere in Oregon and was later transferred to Mount Vernon, Washington. He then moved to eastern Washington where he worked for LTI in Moses Lake as a diesel mechanic. He and his wife Mary also owned and operated a golf cart business in Moses Lake, D&M Golf Carts. In 2008, they retired and moved to Arizona where Dale could follow his passion for golf. He loved to be outdoors and play golf with his close friends. He will always be remembered by friends and family for his infectious smile and love for competitive sports.
Dale is survived by his children David of Bend, Oregon, Daniel of Spokane, Washington, Allison of Albany, Oregon and Cary, Keith, and Chuck Ramsey, all of Roseburg Oregon; sisters Penny Matheson (Mike) and Kristi Jansen (Vic), all of Eastern Washington and Karen Matter of Lynden; and stepmother Mickey Kingma of Lynden as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Ralph Kingma, mother and stepfather Elaine and Augie Matter, brother Larry and wives Marilyn and Mary. A celebration of Dale’s life will be held at a later date.
