Kenneth (Ken) Johnson
March 8, 1962 – April 25, 2021
Ken passed away suddenly April 25, 2021. He was 59 years old. He was born March 8, 1962, in Santa Maria, California, to David and Muriel (Belobraidic) Johnson. Shortly after his birth, the family returned to Wenatchee, Washington. They resided there until moving to Moses Lake, Washington, in 1975.
In 1986, Ken met Sandy, the love of his life, and they made their home in Moses Lake, Washington. His love of road construction and driving semi trucks is where he made his living. In July 2017, a semi wreck left him partially paralyzed, ending his career.
Ken was a free-living and loving soul who did not apologize for who he was. He took every opportunity to tell an animated story about his life adventures, as only he could. The stories were always hilarious and he always made an unforgettable impression on everyone he met. He was the best son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend anyone could ask for.
He was preceded in death by both parents. He is survived by his wife, Sandy, of 35 years; four children, all of Moses Lake: Jodi (Ben) Bryan-Meyers, Kari Bryan, Brandon (Jessica) Johnson, and Kayla Johnson; two sisters Twyla (Jake) LaGrange of Brewster, Washington, and Toni (Steve) Guinn of Lind, Washington; one brother Todd (Minako) Johnson of Yuma, Arizona, and sister-in-law Kathy (Bob) Hunter of Moses Lake. He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, numerous nieces and nephews and too many friends to count.
He will deeply missed by all who knew him. There will be a Celebration of Life in his honor at a later date.
