Mary Ellen (Tschritter) Araujo

December 6, 1931 – February 28, 2021

Mary Ellen Araujo, nee Tschritter, passed away Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021, at the Willapa Harbor Care Center in Raymond. She was 89. She was born Dec. 6, 1931, to Rudolph and Pauline (Knecht) Tschritter in Ephrata, Washington.

Some of Mary’s hobbies included playing bingo, solving crossword puzzles, watching TV game shows, cooking for her family and listening to country music, and especially Elvis Presley.

She is survived by her brother Dwayne (Julia) Tschritter of Sequim, Washington; sons Gary Johnson of Ocean Shores, Randy Johnson (Kim Coates) of South Bend, Ronnie Johnson (Maria Monina Esteral) of Raymond and Lonnie Ray Cary of South Bend; her daughter Mary Vollman of Citrus Heights, California; four grandchildren Brittany (Sebastian) Favero, Jon and Eric Vollman of Citrus Heights, California and Ronnie Johnson (Peanut) and one great-granddaughter Amelia Favero of San Diego, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son John Bamer and her brother Alvin Tschritter.
