Seeking Support Group Facilitator Aging & Adult Care of Central Washington (AACCW) is seeking a Contractor for the provision of virtual and in-person support groups. Preference will be given for experience in conducting support groups for caregivers. Contractor will also provide additional support information services to AACCW clients. Preference given for those with experience with virtual platforms and video-conferencing and a plan for recruiting participants. Experience with dementia as a family member or healthcare professional preferred. This person should have strong and effective listening and communication skills with the ability to redirect and facilitate discussion. Service area consists of Adams, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Lincoln and Okanogan Counties. Initial contract 07/01/2021 - 12/31/2021. AACCW option to renew yearly for additional 3 years. Initial contract amount is $15,500.00 with the possibility of the amount being split among more than one provider. Contractor will be reimbursed per hour for services plus travel expenses.
