Notice of Application & Determination of Non-Significance - Date of Notice: March 1, 2021, Notice is hereby given that a JARPA (Shoreline Substantial Development) Application received by Grant County on January 29, 2021 from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (Anna Marie Sample, 600 Capitol Way N., Olympia, WA 98501) and was found to be technically complete on February 19, 2021. PROJECT: The WDWF proposes to renovate the Burke Lake Access Site on the Quincy Lakes Unit of the Columbia Basin Wildlife Area. This project will replace existing concrete boat launch and install a new precast concrete boat launch. Install new ADA boarding float, install a new cast in place concrete abutment, a new ADA concrete sidewalk. The project will included the paving of the current gravel parking lot. Mitigations measures for this proposal will take place in the East end of Burke Lake, with 2500 sq. ft. of area. Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife has issued a Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) for this project. ADDITIONAL PERMITS REQUIRED: WDFW Hydraulic Project Approval: Aquatic Use Authorization: Section 404: Section 10: Building and Grading. STUDIES SUBMITTED: Wetland Delineation: Cultural Resource Survey.
