Sarah Kaye Reed

Sarah Kaye Reed, husband Jason Reed, passed away unexpectedly on June 17, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her mother Roberta L. Fischer and father Michael Lewis, as well as her grandmother Carol Fischer and grandmother Elloise Berkey; uncles Terry Lee Fischer, Allen Beeler and Ted Berkey and cousins Matthew Beeler and Matty Beeler.

Born in South Bend, Indiana, Sarah is survived by her son Elijah-Jacob (EJ) C. Pierce (age 12) and three sisters, Charity Lewis, Jennifer Dunifin and Terry Konicke, as well as two brothers, Zack Underwood and James Lewis. She is also survived by extended siblings Megan L. Watson (William), Joshua Porter and Hannah Porter and surrogate mother Rhonda Wilson. Sarah also had several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and so many friends.

Sarah has always been the life of the party and lover of all. An avid animal lover and supportive friend, Sarah was a strong, free-spirited, single mother who dedicated herself to her son EJ and her many friends and family members. Known for her beautiful smile, kind heart and humor, she was always full of life. Sarah had a fondness for new experiences, fishing, frogs and dancing. She was always optimistic and judged no one. Her loss is deeply felt by all who loved her. May she rest in peace and may her legacy of love and acceptance live on.

A service was held June 25 at Pioneer Memorial Chapel, Moses Lake, Washington, followed by a celebration of life at Blue Heron Park, Moses Lake, Washington.
