Notice of Application and Public Hearing: June 29, 2021 Notice is hereby given that a Conditional Use Permit and SEPA Checklist were received by Grant County on May 24, 2021 from Central Terminals LLC (Designated Contact: Gil Alvarado, PO Box 260, Moses Lake, WA 98837) and were found to be Technically Complete on June 29, 2021. PROJECT: A Conditional Use Permit and SEPA checklist to allow a surface operation that encompasses 190.16 acres. The operation will involve the extraction of sand and gravel, crushing operations, concrete batch operations and hot mix asphalt operations. Approximately 7,124,411 cubic yards of material will be processed. STUDIES REQUIRED: Wetland Analysis. LOCATION: The site address of the subject parcel is 2498 Mae Valley Rd NE, Moses Lake, WA. The site is located approximately 3 1/2 mile west of Moses Lake and approximately one mile north of Interstate 90. Access to the site is from Mae Valley Road through the existing Central Washington Asphalt pit. The property is further located in the South half of Section 21, Township 19 N, Range 27 E, W.M., Grant County, WA Parcel #21-1308-000 & 21-1312-000. ZONING: Agriculture. PUBLIC HEARING: Grant County Hearings Examiner tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, The proposal has tentatively been scheduled for a public hearing before the Grant County Hearings Examiner, Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 12:00 pm in the Commissioner's Hearing Room on the bottom floor of the Grant County Courthouse 35 C St NW Ephrata, WA. At this time any person(s) may provide testimony for the hearing. Grant County is providing access to this scheduled hearing for the public via webex audio connection, members of the public may also be present in the hearing room in limited numbers. To participate in the hearing please call in to the hearing at 1 (408) 418-9388 and enter the access code (146 511 2942), you will be joined to the meeting in a 'muted' status until such time as the hearing allows for public testimony.
