Ronald Dean Findlay

Ronald Dean Findlay was born to Richard and Ruth Findlay on Nov. 21, 1950, in Casa Grande, Arizona. The family moved to Washington in 1956, living in various places and ending in Block 40. The family raised hogs, dairy cows and horses. Ron joined FFA and earned many awards. He met his future wife Teresa the year he graduated Moses Lake High School, 1969.

He attended BBCC, earning an associate’s degree in 1971. He married Teresa June 18, 1971, and that fall entered the Navy, becoming a nuclear electrician master 1st class.

He worked at PSNS Bremerton until 2013. Ron received Jesus Christ as his savior in 1974 and served him until his death.

Ron bravely fought lymphoma for nearly three years until his death on Feb. 24, 2021, just four months shy from their 50th wedding anniversary.

He is survived by his wife Teresa, brother Ken, sister Diane and several nieces and nephews.
