Moses Lake real estate broker Doug Robins (left) prepares to toss a coin to decide who won the “horse race” — Rich Victor (center) or Shannon “Shambo” Waters (right) — at the Moses Lake Business Expo on Tuesday evening at the Grant County Fairgrounds. The event, organized by the Moses Lake Chamber of Commerce, was themed “A Day at the Races” after the Kentucky Derby to celebrate the hoped-for end of the COVID-19 lockdown and a return to more normal business across the region, and featured a scavenger hunt, a derby hat contest and a six-person “horse race.” Waters won the coin toss and race. Look for more on the event in the Herald soon.
