Weekend roundup: ML girls dunk Sunnyside

Moses Lake 62, Sunnyside 43

The Chiefs assisted on 17 of 25 baskets while out-rebounding Sunnyside by 10 boards Thursday. Anna Olson finished with 21 points, five rebounds and five assists. Olivia Waites added 16 points and six boards, while Meagan Karstetter made 15 points and five rebounds.

Ephrata 59, Cascade 18

Payton Hagy boasted seven three-pointers and 27 points to lead the Ephrata Tigers against Cascade High School over the weekend. Julia Davis added 15 points.

Ephrata 51, Othello 39

Payton Hagy led Ephrata with 16 points Saturday, while Julia Davis added 13. Addison Mills finished with 10 points and 14 rebounds.

For Othello, Annalee Coronado finished with 19 points, five rebounds and four steals. Maciah Tovar added nine points and seven rebounds.

Othello 49, West Valley (Spokane) 67

Annalee Coronado finished 11-15 from the floor for 28 points to go with four rebounds and four assists Friday. Maciah Tovar added 10 points, two rebounds, an assist and a steal.

Warden 85, Royal 33

Kiana Rios pulled off eight of the team’s 29 steals to go with 24 points for Warden Thursday. Jaryn Madsen finished with 16 points, seven assists and eight steals, while freshman Lauryn Madsen had 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Warden 67, Lind-Ritzville 37

Kiana Rios led Warden with 27 points Saturday. Lauryn Madsen finished with 10 points and nine rebounds.

Marshall Tibbs led Moses Lake with 18 points and 16 rebounds Thursday. Blaine Macdonald added nine points, five rebounds and two steals. Jackson Purcell added 8 points, three rebounds, one assist and one steal.

Warden 38, Royal 78

Luke Bergeson led Royal High School with 24 points. Kyler Cox finished with 14 points for Warden, while Andrew Owens chipped in 11.

Warden 51, Lind-Ritzville 66

Andrew Owens made 14 points for Warden Saturday. Miguel Tamoya finished with 11 points and 12 rebounds, while Kyler Cox added 10. Warden made 10 threes as a team.
