BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Louisiana's veto override clash moves Wednesday to the House, where Republican state lawmakers hope to get a few Democrats to rebuff Gov. John Bel Edwards and overturn his rejection of a bill targeting transgender participation in school sports.
