Notice of Application Notice is hereby given that a JARPA (Shoreline Conditional Use Permit) was received by Grant County on June 21, 2021 from WA State Parks and Recreation Commission (Designated Contact: David Conlin, 1101 Fawcett Avenue, Suite 200, Tacoma, WA 98402) and was found to be technically complete on 12, 2021. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: To construct a bridge over lower crab creek to replace an old railroad trestle that was burned by a wildfire in 2019. This bridge is located along the Palouse to Cascades Trail. The replacement bridge will reconnect the trail. ADDITIONAL PERMITS REQUIRED: WDFW HPA, SEPA. STUDIES REQUIRED: Critical Areas Assessment, Wetland Delineation. LOCATION: The project site is an old railroad bridge that crosses Lower Crab Creek along the Palouse to Cascades Trail.
