Mattawa City Council to start meeting in person

MATTAWA - The Mattawa City Council will begin meeting in person with live streaming for those who cannot attend.

The first in-person meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, but access via Zoom also will be available.

Gov. Jay Inslee has issued COVID-19 guidance stating meetings may be in person, as long as remote access is available and everyone speaking can be heard by those listening. The guidance states community members wishing to be involved in the meeting must be allowed to do so, even via remote and electronic means.
