Authorities investigate car with bodies in Othello

OTHELLO — At least one body was found Thursday morning in a car on the 2200 block of Charla Road in Othello, according to a release.

Adams County sheriff’s deputies responded at 6:30 a.m. to the Edson Tracts area on a report of a vehicle with blood on the hood. Upon investigating, deputies found a dead person in the vehicle and possible remains of other dead people in the vehicle’s trunk.

None of the victims have been identified due to the bodies’ conditions.

No suspects have been identified.

The Washington State Crime Lab Response Team, Othello Police Department, Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Washington State Patrol, Moses Lake Police Department and others are assisting the investigation.
