September 15, 1961 – January 3, 2021

John Wesley Dearinger, 59, passed away on Jan. 3, 2021, at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, Washington.

John was born in Renton, Washington, the son of Martha Dearinger and John “Wes” Dearinger. He attended Kent schools, served with the U.S. Army in Germany, and worked as a welder for the U.S. Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington.

He loved to ride his motorcycle, hang out with family and friends, fish and act quite the joker. John was always helping someone with building projects or working on cars, trucks and motorcycles.

He is survived by his son Jake W. Dearinger, of Ephrata, Washington; sisters Roxanne Dearinger, of Moses Lake, Linda Edwards, of East Wenatchee, and Joan Thompson, of Wenatchee; and brother Curtis Huskins, of Phoenix, Arizona.

On 03 January 2021 our ranks lost another soldier.

Not to conflict or to war, but to a life fully lived.

John Wesley Dearinger walked the line,

He held tight to his heart and truly lived.

We should all be so lucky.

To our brother in arms;

You will neither be gone nor forgotten,

For we will always carry the fallen.

You will be forever in our hearts.

Father, brother, uncle, and son.

John Wesley Dearinger
