The Nation's Weather for Wednesday, January 13, 2021
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Quiet weather will continue to dominate the eastern half of
the country tomorrow. Stray flurries may fly in upstate New
York, while the rest of the Northeast experiences some
sunshine with near- to slightly above-average temperatures.
Cool conditions are forecast to remain in place across the
Southeast. Although most of the region can expect a dry day,
moisture flowing in from the Gulf of Mexico will lead to
showers in central and South Florida. Mild air is expected
to continue to build over the High Plains, with daily
records likely to be challenged in northern areas. The warm
air will build ahead of a potent storm sweeping through
Idaho and Montana with high winds, rain and mountain snow.
Wet weather will taper off in Washington and Oregon, while
the Southwest states remain dry.
