VIRUS OUTBREAK-JOBS UNEMPLOYMENT RATE — Chart. The first of two embeds in this advisory shows the U.S. unemployment rate and its surge during the coronavirus outbreak. It has declined since its peak, but remains at elevated levels. A second embed shows job gains and losses, which have gained back some of the record losses cause by coronavirus but remain at a net loss.
