The Nation's Weather for Thursday, January 7, 2021
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Snow is expected to blanket northern and eastern Idaho,
northwestern Wyoming and much of Montana tomorrow.
Meanwhile, a storm system will deliver a soaking rain to
central Arkansas, central Tennessee and much of Mississippi,
Alabama and Georgia. In the colder air on the north side of
the storm, accumulating snow is forecast in southern
Missouri and northern Arkansas. The West Coast will have a
brief reprieve from the recent barrage of storms, but the
next system is already expected to be approaching the coast
of southwestern Oregon and Northern California by late in
the day. Elsewhere across the country, a dry day is
anticipated, although only the coastal Northeast, central
and southern Texas and the Desert Southwest will have much
in the way of sunshine.
