Jean Miller

May 30, 1931 – February 10, 2021

Jean Miller went home to God Feb. 10 and become one of his angels, after a long fight with dementia. She finally succumbed to pneumonia.

She will be reunited with her mother and father; sister Shirley; sons Dan, Jeff and Jim; daughter Janna and grandson Dan. She is survived by her husband Norman Miller, sons John and Tim, daughters Suzanne and Rebecca, step daughters Tammie and Theresa and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jean loved camping and traveling through the country with her husband in their fifth wheel. They camped and went full time in 2004. She visited 46 states, national parks and any place of interest. She wanted to return to Branson, Missouri, and Hawaii, but with the onset of dementia was unable to do so.

During the time not traveling, she loved her flowers and making more flower beds for her enjoyment. Her other joy was toll painting flowers on glassware and wood. She also loved a good game of cards with family and friends.

She will be sorely missed, but is now free of pain and suffering. I want to thank Lake Ridge Center for their care and empathy during Jean’s final journey.

There will be no services, but a memorial service will be held this spring.
