Interview schedule for Wahluke superintendent candidates announced

MATTAWA — Wahluke School District patrons can virtually meet the three finalists for district superintendent.

The interview process of each candidate will take a full day, with an online session for the community from 7 to 8 p.m.

Ed Murray will be interviewed Tuesday. Currently, Murray is the director of personalized learning and public relations for the Laurens County School District 55 in Laurens, South Carolina.

Andy Harlow, currently the Wahluke interim superintendent, will be interviewed Wednesday. Prior to taking the interim job, Harlow was the principal at Wahluke Junior High since 2012.

Kelly Thorson will be interviewed Thursday. Thorson is the principal at Tieton Intermediate School in the Highland School District in Cowiche, Wash.
