Notice of Application and Preliminary SEPA Decision The city of Moses Lake received an application from Stacy and Colby Clasen to conduct maintenance to an existing retaining wall by removing native plants and noxious weeds to gain access to the retaining wall; all native vegetation will be replanted with an approved replanting plan at a 1:1 replacement mitigation ratio. The project site is located at 500 S. Sandalwood, Moses Lake WA. A Geotechnical study and/or NRCS Soil Survey report is required. The applicant submitted a completed SEPA Checklist, a request for a Shoreline Exemption, and a Native Plant Replanting Plan. Pursuant to WAC 197-11-158 the City will regulate impacts consistent with the 2017 Shoreline Master Program, and other local, state, and federal laws or rules. These laws and rules should provide adequate analysis of the impacts of the projects. Required Permits: This Notice of Application is for a Shoreline Exemption Approval from the City of Moses Lake. Additional permits may be required including but not limited to Hydraulic Project Approval from the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife and a USCOE Nationwide Permit(s). Public Comment/Review/Appeals: The public and other agencies with jurisdiction are encouraged to review and comment on the proposed project and its probable impacts.
