Kremlin: Thousands of arrests at protests necessary response
MOSCOW (AP) — The Kremlin strongly rebuffed Western criticism Thursday and described the thousands of arrests at protests against the jailing of opposition leader Alexei Navalny as a necessary response to the unsanctioned rallies.
