MLCA/CCS sees huge victory over Pateros
MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake Christian Academy/Christian Covenant School (MLCA/CCS) boys and girls basketball teams shut out Pateros High School Monday night.
The Lady Lions dominated the court, putting up double or even triple the points each quarter Pateros did. MLCA/CCS junior Makiya Kast led the scoreboard, with 19 of the team’s 58 points. MLCA/CCS girls came out on top, 58-16.
In the boys game, the Lions totally shut Pateros out from scoring in the first quarter and held them back from making more than 13 points in a quarter. The huge victory for MLCA/CCS appeared to be a team effort with nine out of the team’s 13 members putting points on the board. Senior Pierre Boorman led the team with 16 points. MLCA/CCS boys won 69-18.
