Linda I. Thurman

Linda I. Thurman, 71, passed away in her home Aug. 23 with family at her side.

Born in Clarkston, Washington, in May 1950 to Gary Mackey and Ellen Knight, Linda married Larry L. Thurman in December 1970, and lived in Port Angeles, Washington until 1993. They moved to Moses Lake, prospering after starting a business.

Linda’s sense of humor was unsurpassed. She enjoyed camping, boating and taking care of her home. Linda mostly spent time with her family.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother Ellen Knight, father Gary Mackey, brothers Randy Knight and Thomas Knight and sisters Fern Mackey and Jenice Knight.

She is survived by her husband Larry L. Thurman; daughters Connie Knox, Sheila Marsh, Vicky Thurman and Kristine McFarlen, all of Moses Lake, Washington; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters Dannette Knight of Walla Walla, Washington, Wade Mackey of Moses Lake, Washington, Richard Mackey of Port Angeles, Washington, Brad Knight of Clarkston, Washington, Ramona Knight of Vancouver, Washington, Leil Huether of Sequim, Washington and Arnie Knight of Poulsbo Washington.

Linda will be dearly missed. Graveside services were set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, at Pioneer Memorial Gardens.
