Notice of Application, Public Hearing and Proposed DNS - August 26, 2021 Notice is hereby given that a Subdivision application and SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on August 2, 2021 from the Port of Royal Slope (Designated Contact: Sara Prather, Western Pacific Engineering & Surveying, 1328 East Hunter Place, Moses Lake, WA 98837), was found to be technically complete on August 20, 2021. Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal, and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. Notice of Issuance of Mitigation Determination of Non-Significance - Date of Notice: August 23, 2021. Grant County has issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (WAC Chapter197-11) for the following project: A Conditional Use Permit and SEPA checklist to allow a surface operation that encompasses 190.16 acres. The operation will involve the extraction of sand and gravel, crushing operations, concrete batch operations and hot mix asphalt operations. Approximately 7,124,411 cubic yards of material will be processed. The site address of the subject parcel is 2498 Mae Valley Rd NE, Moses Lake, WA. The site is located approximately 3 1/2 mile west of Moses Lake and approximately one mile north of Interstate 90.
