Terry (Turner) Burress

September 12, 1959 – August 17, 2021

Terry (Turner) Burress, 61, of Ellensburg, passed away on Aug. 17, 2021, at Swedish Hospital in Issaquah.

She was born Sept. 12, 1959, in Moses Lake, Washington, to Roy and Janet (Marchand) Turner. She attended Warden schools and graduated in 1978.

Terry married Randy Burress and together they farmed in the Moses Lake area and later in the Ellensburg area. Terry was creative, caring and kind. She had a deep and loving connection with her children and her family. She will be deeply missed.

Her family takes comfort in the memories of growing up in the town of Ruff and all the fun camping adventures.

She was preceded in death by her mother Janet Marchand Turner and her grandparents Cecil and Irene (Smith) Marchand, and Norman and Florence Turner.

Terry is survived by her husband Randy Burress; children Rick Burress, Shelly Coon, Edward Burress and Andreea Burress and granddaughter Madison Burress, all of Ellensburg; father Roy Turner of Ephrata; sisters Trudy Foreman of Ephrata and Tracy Gunning of Davenport; brother Troy Turner of Bothell; aunts JoAnn Hochstetler of Moses Lake and Cheryl Marchand of Ruff; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private service for family will be held later.
