One dies in Adams County collision

One person died Sunday afternoon on Interstate 90 in a rollover collision, about 7 miles east of Ritzville in Adams County.

The collision, which occurred right before 4 p.m., also caused traffic to be blocked, then rerouted onto the shoulder for several hours while officials investigated, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Life Flight Network was advised, but it was unknown by press time whether it responded. The Adams County Coroner also was made aware of the collision.

The person who died was unidentified by press time and there was no further information.
