Weekly Roundup: Wahluke boys soccer takes down Quincy on the road, 5-3

Boys soccer

Wahluke 5, Quincy 3

Orlando Erazo and Oscar Perez both scored a pair of goals for Wahluke to help lead the Warriors to the road victory over Quincy on Tuesday afternoon. Diego Olivares scored once for Wahluke, with Erazo, Arnold Ramos and Humberto Barajas adding assists. Saul Arrieta finished with seven saves in goal.

Jesus Hernandez scored twice for Quincy, with Adrian Borja adding the third goal. Jose Lopez and Jorge Nuñez each tallied assists.

Royal 6, Okanogan 1

Angel Vega finished with two goals and two assists to lead the Knights in the win over Okanogan Tuesday evening. Leonel Salazar added two goals for Royal, while Alexis Diaz and Eliseo Romero each added a goal apiece. Romero and Oscar Cervantes both added assists.

Simón Rebellia and Brayden Millard scored for Moses Lake on Tuesday afternoon.

Back-to-back five-run innings in the second and third let the Huskies pull away against East Valley on Tuesday. Kevin Garza finished 3-4 from the plate with three RBIs and a pair of doubles. Nathan Garza Jr. finished 2-3 for Othello with a team-high four RBIs and two doubles. Isaiah Alegria finished 2-3 with one home run.

Ephrata 0, Eastmont 4

Ethan Black recorded the only two hits for the Tigers in the loss to Eastmont earlier this week. Gavin Burns finished with five strikeouts and just one run allowed on hits after coming into pitch relief for 3 1/3 innings.

Kiana Rios allowed just four hits pitching for the Cougars earlier this week. Jada Hernandez finished 2-2 from the plate with a double, while both Brianna Martinez and Lauryn Madsen finished 2-4.

Royal 16, Quincy 0

Madison Ortega-Sanchez gave up just one hit to Quincy Tuesday afternoon in addition to tossing 10 strikeouts. Chenoa Louie finished 3-4 from the plate for Royal with three RBIs, a double, triple and home run. Randi Allred added three RBIs as well. Five Knights players finished the game with two or more RBIs.
