James (Jim) Richard Newhouse Sr.

March 10, 1935 – April 25, 2021

Jim passed away Sunday, April 25, surrounded by his sons and wife.

Jim was a CPA in Moses Lake, Washington. When he was not helping his clients or expanding his business, he loved to hunt and fish. If he wasn’t at the office or in the field, he spent his free time at the family ranch north of Ford, Washington.

He was equally comfortable in a suit or bib overalls.

Jim was generous man; if you asked for his help, he would always do what he could.

Jim was preceded in death by his father Joseph, mother Florence, son Mark and brother Reid.

Jim is survived by his wife Jill; children Joseph (Beth), Christopher (Jennifer), and James Jr. (Evelyn); stepchildren Bart Flanagan, Kerry (Alan) Ward, Jackie (Greg) Kaufmann and Jamie (Dave) Donley; three grandsons, eight granddaughters, four step-grandsons, and one step-granddaughter.

A service will be held at Kayser’s Chapel & Crematory on Friday, April 30 at 9 a.m. and a graveside service will be held at Pleasant View Cemetery, Ford, Washington, on Saturday, May 1.
