Peninsula Elementary School first-graders plant their own take-home marigolds Wednesday during First Grade Farm Day at the school. Farm Day is an annual event sponsored by the Moses Lake High School FFA. It is usually held at the Grant County Fairgrounds, but that wasn’t feasible this year, organizers said.
