Sept. 17

Officers responded to the 3100 block of Bell Road Northeast for a report of a bag of dead rabbits found on the roadway.

Officers responded to the area of West Lakeside Drive and South A Street for a report of a suspect that struck a road sign and continued driving. Police later located the suspect and arrested them for driving under the influence.

Officers responded to the 1800 block of West Broadway Avenue for a report of a "No Parking Bike Only" sign that was struck by an unknown vehicle and was uprooted by the collision.

Officers responded to The Home Center for a report of an unknown suspect who cut a catalytic converter off of a delivery truck sometime overnight.

Officers responded to the 800 block of South Kiefer Drive for a report of two stray dogs. After one of the dogs was pepper-sprayed, both animals were impounded.

Officers responded to Safeway for a report of a female suspect using counterfeit $100 bills.

Officers responded to the 1400 block of West Lee Street for a report of a resident’s windshield that was broken by someone overnight.

Sept. 18

Officers responded to the Ramada Inn for a report of subjects smoking drugs in a vehicle in the parking lot. The vehicle was stopped and both meth and heroin were located.

Officers responded to the 3800 block of West Prichard Road for a report of a storage unit that was broken into, in which around 26,000 rounds of ammunition, fishing gear and other items.

Officers responded to Grace Harvest Church for a report of a driver on his cell phone who crashed into an electrical pole, damaging the pole’s fiber cables.

Sept. 19

Officers responded to the 800 block of East Hill Avenue for a report of graffiti located on a concrete wall.

Officers responded to the 1200 block of South Jefferson Avenue for a report of a missing child. Police located the child and returned them to their mother.

Officers responded to Jack in the Box for a report of a woman who defecated behind the dumpsters of the business.

Officers responded to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for a report of gang-related graffiti located behind the building.

Officers responded to the 1000 block of West Lakeside Drive for a report of a kite found set on fire.

September 20

Officers responded to the Heron Creek Apartments for a report of a resident that walked out to her vehicle in the morning and found a man sleeping in the driver’s seat. Police later arrested the suspect, who had an active warrant for his arrest and was carrying heroin.

Officers responded to Grant Integrated Services for a report of a man camped out in front of the building and defecating outside. Employees with GIS offered the man a four-night hotel room.

Officers responded to West Peninsula Drive for a report of a juvenile female assaulting another juvenile female.

Officers responded to the 1400 block of East Craig Street for a report of a person who assaulted someone else with a kitchen knife.

Grant County Jail

Sept. 17

Charles Cooler, 25, of Wilbur, was booked on probation violations stemming from an underlying charge of third-degree assault.

Chadd Lee Wang, 36, of Spokane, was booked on charges of possession of a controlled substance and second-degree driving while license suspended.

Jesus Torres, 24, of Moses Lake, was booked on probation violations stemming from unspecified underlying charges.

David Michael Cole, 31, of Moses Lake, was booked on probation violations stemming from an underlying charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Lynn Scott Miller, 61, of Moses Lake, was booked on charges of driving while under the influence, hit-and-run of an unattended vehicle, operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock and operating a vehicle without a valid operating license.
