WENATCHEE — Dr. Julie Rickard and Blake Suzelis have opened the National Center for Suicide Survivors in Wenatchee, offering a 24-month suicide survivors treatment program. They will host a virtual open house at noon on Sept. 23 on Facebook Live (www.facebook.com/helpforsuicide).

According to a press release from NCSS, the center is the only one in the United States using this treatment and combining it with an entire wrap-around program to support survivors, in an outpatient setting. Currently, Intensive Suicide Survivors Treatment is offered in Washington state in-person and virtually. For more information, go to www.helpforsuicide.org.
