NCW Libraries expands curbside pickup hours
ROYAL CITY — The NCW Libraries system has expanded its curbside pickup hours.
The North Central Regional Library system changed its name to NCW Libraries in August.
The expanded hours were supposed to start Sept. 14, but all libraries in the system were closed Monday and Tuesday due to the poor air quality. All libraries in the system, which includes Grant, Okanogan, Douglas, Chelan and Ferry counties, remain closed to the public.
The curbside service, which will resume when air quality improves, allows patrons to order items from the library and have them brought outside for delivery during designated hours. The expanded hours are different at each library, and patrons can find the hours for their branch on the library website, www.ncwlibraries.org.
The library system’s mail order service resumed Monday. Library patrons can reserve books or other materials from any library in the system and have them delivered by mail. The mail order service requires a library card.
Libraries in Grant County are located in Royal City, Mattawa, Warden, Moses Lake, Quincy, Ephrata, Soap Lake, Coulee City and Grand Coulee.
