Correction: Ethics Complaint-Legislature story

SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — In a story September 15, 2020, about a New Mexico ethics complaint, The Associated Press erroneously reported that the ethics commission could not issue a ruling before the election. Public hearings can’t be held, but complaints can be dismissed, which is a form of ruling. The Associated Press also erroneously reported the name of the nonprofit. It is AppleTree Educational Center.
